Terms of Use

Banjaari is a women-centric peer-to-peer platform in India for renting and lending occasion and traditional outfits through local meetups. Users may act as renters, lenders, or both.

Banjaari does not own listed outfits, does not operate as a retail shipper of garments, and is not a party to the rental agreement between users. Outfit condition, sizing fit, pricing, deposits, meetup logistics, damage resolution, and fulfilment are between the renter and lender. Banjaari provides software tools (discovery, unlocks, bookings, calendars, credits, notifications, and related features) to help those connections happen.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract under applicable Indian law. Banjaari uses mobile number verification (OTP) to create and access accounts. You agree to provide accurate profile and meetup details (including area, city, state, pincode, and address lines where requested), keep your device and session secure, and use the Services only for lawful purposes.

You are responsible for activity under your account. We may refuse registration, or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse credits or referrals, misrepresent listings, harass other users, or put others at risk.

Lenders are responsible for truthful titles, descriptions, images, sizes, fabric, condition, rental price per day, security deposit (if any), care instructions, damage policy, included pieces, and availability. Lenders may block dates and manage calendars for each outfit. Mark Atelier only when craftsmanship genuinely warrants it.

Publishing a listing or changing listing photos may consume credits as shown in the app at the time of the action. Editing other listing details does not consume credits. Renters must treat garments with care, follow care notes, and return them as agreed at meetup. Banjaari may remove or limit listings that appear fraudulent, unsafe, or unlawful.

Bookings may include requests, proposed date ranges, confirmation, cancellation or decline flows, and status updates in-app. Meetup handoffs are intended to be in person at the addresses users provide. Banjaari may send push, in-app, or other service notifications about booking activity.

Users remain responsible for showing up, inspecting outfits at meetup, agreeing deposits and damage terms between themselves, and resolving disputes in good faith. Banjaari does not guarantee that any booking will complete or that any party will perform.

Where platform commission or fees apply to confirmed activity, amounts and timing are as disclosed in the product or related communications at the time.

Banjaari may provide a credits wallet. Credits may be granted (for example welcome credits or referral rewards) or topped up via payment partners such as Razorpay when payments are enabled. Bonus tiers, unlock costs, listing costs, and pack prices shown in the app may change.

Credits are a limited licence to use in-app features (including unlock and certain listing actions). Credits are not cash, have no monetary redemption or withdrawal value, are non-transferable except as Banjaari expressly allows, and cannot be cashed out. Payment processor terms also apply to top-ups. Failed, pending, or disputed payments are handled under the processor’s and Banjaari’s operational rules.

We may reverse credits granted in error, obtained through abuse, or linked to chargebacks or fraud.

Banjaari may offer referral or Share & Earn features. Eligible users may receive a personal referral code or link. Rewards (typically credits) may be granted when a new user successfully redeems a valid code under the rules shown in the product (for example signup-only redemption, no self-referral, and anti-abuse checks).

Referral rewards, eligibility, and limits may change. We may withhold or reverse rewards for fraud, duplicate accounts, or policy evasion.

Banjaari’s name, logos, design language, and software are protected. You may not copy or misuse brand assets without permission. You retain rights to content you upload and grant Banjaari a non-exclusive licence to host, display, and process it as needed to operate, improve, and promote the Services.

The Services are provided on an “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Banjaari and Agendeas Solution LLP are not liable for disputes between users, garment damage or loss arising from user meetups, missed handoffs, inaccurate listings, third-party payment or SMS failures, or indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Banjaari and Agendeas Solution LLP from claims arising out of your misuse of the Services, your listings or meetups, your breach of these Terms, or your infringement of others’ rights, to the extent permitted by law.

We may update these Terms as Banjaari evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

We may suspend or end access to the Services (including for maintenance, risk, or breach). You may stop using Banjaari at any time. Provisions that by nature should survive (including IP, disclaimers, indemnity, and governing law) will survive termination.
