Atelier · India
The lehenga for one sangeet. The Banarasi for one wedding. The anarkali she will remember forever — without buying forever. Banjaari connects women’s closets nearby.
Peer-to-peer · Women · Festive India

The feeling we honour
Almost none ask her to own forever.
India’s festivals and weddings are layered, luminous, and often one-night miracles of colour. Yet the economics fall hardest on her wardrobe: embroidered lehengas, zari sarees, and festive sets bought for a handful of wears — then folded away. Banjaari was born from that quiet tension. Occasion wear is her cultural treasure, not disposable fashion. So we built a peer-to-peer atelier for women — where the look she needs already lives a few pin codes away, and the Closet she loves can earn more evenings in the world.
The ache
Buying once for a night that lives forever in photos — and forever in her cupboard.
The bridge
Another woman nearby already owns the silhouette she needs. Another Closet is waiting.
The promise
Private unlock. Local meetup. Mutual review. Her celebration — without waste.

Chapter · Inside the app
Near-you browse. Private unlocks. Closet lending. Calendars. Verified trust. Wishlist for the season ahead. One calm product language from first glance to the first dance.
Celebration begins in your neighbourhood.
Home opens to outfits in your meetup pincode — the Closets closest to your life. Switch to a wider India view when you want more options, without losing the local-first promise that makes meetups human.
Contact is earned — never exposed by default.
Browse freely by area and city. Credits reveal a lender’s name, phone, and meetup address once. Closets stay private until intent is real — a quieter, safer way to connect than open directories.
Idle embroidery deserves more evenings out.
List from your Closet: daily rental price, deposit, fabric, care notes, availability. Mark Atelier when the craftsmanship is truly couture. Recover meaning — and value — from pieces that should not sleep between festivals.
Dates agreed. Calendars respected.
Request a rental, propose or accept dates, confirm, and keep busy days blocked. Meetup edits stay clear. The shared calendar is the source of truth for both sides.
Trust you can read before you meet.
Phone OTP, Verified marks, trust scores, and two-way reviews for renters and lenders. Reputation compounds with every respectful handoff — so the next celebration starts safer.
Save the look. Return when the date is near.
Heart outfits for Diwali, Navratri, wedding weeks, and guest duties ahead. Your shortlist waits — so discovery is calm, not last-minute panic.
Chapter · The ritual
Seek · Unlock · Meet · Return
Search lehengas, sarees, anarkalis, gowns, shararas — by place, price, and occasion. Start near your pincode.
Spend credits once. See who you are meeting and where the handoff happens — privately, with clear intent.
Agree dates on the calendar. Meet locally. Wear the look with care. Celebrate fully.
Hand it back. Leave a review. Strengthen trust for the next festival, the next guest, the next glow.
Chapter · The seal
OTP signup, credit-gated contact, local meetups, and two-way reviews are not add-ons. They are the architecture of Banjaari — so her joy never trades away privacy.
Her privacy is the atelier.
OTP-secured accounts, Verified marks, and ratings you can read before a single thread leaves a Closet.
Full name, phone, and meetup address appear only when credits are spent — once per lender, with intent.
Built for neighbourhood meetups. Real people. Clear addresses. No anonymous courier as the default.
Renters and lenders both leave feedback. Trust scores grow with every respectful exchange.

Banjaari is not a warehouse catalogue. It connects real women’s closets nearby. She rents for the night that matters, or lends pieces that deserve more evenings — with privacy-first unlocks and in-person meetups instead of anonymous shipping as the default.
You can browse by area without exposing full contact details. Credits unlock a lender’s name, phone, and meetup address — typically once per lender — so closets stay private until intent is real.
Yes. List outfits with price, deposit, availability, and care notes. Mark Atelier for luxury craftsmanship. Manage calendars, accept booking requests, and earn from celebrations you will not attend.
